Heather B, The Story So Far…
I have been in business for well over 20 years and I served my apprenticeship with someone, who back then, was one of the most well known and respected photographers in the area and who is still going strong today.
Through his patience and wisdom and my own determination I became a wedding photographer.
Heather B Studios began life at Great Moor Street in Bolton town centre and during the first 12 years it had lots of ups and downs. It survived 2 recessions, 10 burgalries and had to fight off strong competition from the likes of Olan Mills and Venture Portraits.
You can’t beat progress!
The council had plans to re-develop Great Moor Street and the studio was left without a home for 9 months. The council tried to find other premises for me without success until a call came out of the blue that changed everything.
It was a offer to move into Smithills Hall and without hesitation I agreed.
This wonderful hall is very special to me for many personal reasons and has always been a part of my life. It is one of Bolton’s finest remaining buildings and I wanted to make sure that I would become an asset to the hall and always try my best to help care for it in any way possible.
The staff and friends of Smithills Hall took a chance on me and I would like to thank them for their continued support.
My simple business philosophy is to provide a good, honest serivce at a reasonable price and to always give a little back when ever I can to those who need it.
