Heather B is the only resident, official photographer at Smithills Hall and therefore has full permission to shoot within the hall itself and the surrounding grounds.

Each session is carefully planned to give you the best selection of images possbile. Heather B Studios is a cosy little studio situated inside a 15th century museum and hall. It has its own chapel, is surrounded in amazing grounds and has its own forest on the doorstep. The outdoor sessions are particularly special as the seasons bring ever changing backgrounds, from moss covered logs, daffodils, bluebells, daisies, autumn leaves, a babbling stream, fairy bridge, and even a dusting of snow as your backdrop. With ample free parking.
This quirky little studio has everything you need for a lovely portrait session. Don’t worry about the weather if you have your heart set on a outdoor session, you can cancel right up to a hour before your shoot if the weather is bad and re-book without charge.
Heather Bs has a massive selection of high quality props for baby and children sessions. The newborn props are sourced from the UK, America, Canada, and Australia.
